WINNIPEG -- Winnipeg quarterback Drew Willys injured shoulder could make him miss the Blue Bombers next game almost two weeks from now, and his future after that is unclear based on what the team said Monday. The Bombers say Willys status is week-to-week but that hes questionable for Winnipegs next game at home against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. "He will be re-evaluated at the beginning of next week," the team said in a brief statement Monday. The team didnt provide any more information about the nature of the injury. Willys throwing shoulder was injured on what looked like a hit from Alex Bazzie and Khreem Smith, as Willy was sacked late in the second quarter in their 25-9 loss to the B.C. Lions Saturday. After the game, coach Mike OShea suggested the injury might not be serious, although Willy watched from the sidelines in the second half as backup Brian Brohm struggled against B.C.s defence. At 27, Willy has been remarkably durable, or lucky, as far as injuries are concerned, with only a hand injury in practice that made him miss two games during his college career and none that have forced him to miss a game as a professional. This season he has hardly missed a snap let alone a game, despite hits that have left him bruised and limping off the field at times. It helps that this is Winnipegs bye week, which gives the team and Willy some time to recover or prepare. They dont have to play again until Sept. 27. The Bombers arent suffering alone. Willy joins Darian Durant, Travis Lulay and Bo Levi Mitchell on the injured list. Like Willy, Mitchell went down Saturday, although in his case it was a leg injury, and also like Willy he hadnt missed a game this season. B.C. has veteran Kevin Glenn, who has already played most of the season for Lulay, and Calgary has Drew Tate if Mitchell cant return. But the Bombers have the untested Brohm to back up Willy. The Saskatchewan Roughriders have also been forced to go with rookie backup Tino Sunseri, who made his first CFL start Sunday, a 28-3 loss in Hamilton that gave the Tiger-Cats just their third win of the season. With Durant out, Saskatchewans hold on second place in the CFL West looked tenuous as they fell to an 8-3 tie with the Edmonton Eskimos after weekend games. Mike Reilly, the last starter standing in the West, completed 22 of 32 throws Friday for 271 yards and ran for two touchdowns as the Eskimos put away the Montreal Alouettes 33-16. Although the Bombers are in last place in the CFL West at 6-6, Willy has been the player who kept them in the game for much of this season. He leads the league in passing yards at 2,977, at least for now. The Bombers went 5-1 to open the season, although most of their games were against eastern teams that have struggled against every team in the West. The Bombers then started to play more in their own division and have a 1-5 record since, with that one win against the Alouettes. Lance Berkman Rangers Jersey . Heavily-criticized after allowing a dozen goals on 58 shots in two games in Boston, Luongo continued his dominance at home. Hes now allowed two goals in three home games in this series. John Wetteland Rangers Jersey .Simon will work with head coach Gord Dineen and associate coach Derek King behind the bench of the Toronto Maple Leafs American Hockey League affiliate for the 2014-15 season. https://www.cheaprangersbaseball.com/2782h-nick-solak-jersey-rangers.html . Lauzon rushed for 42 yards on 15 carries for the Vert et Or (2-3) while quarterback Jeremi Roch completed 19-of-32 passes for 251 yards and one interception. Alexandre Aube scored the other touchdown for Sherbrooke. David Clyde Jersey . The Jays responded to the three-spot Detroit placed on Casey Janssen the evening before with an attack on the Tigers Achilles Heel, its bullpen, tying the game in the ninth and winning the game in the 10th. The result absolved Marcus Stroman, brilliant once again, of a tough luck loss while at the same time robbing Max Scherzer, brilliant once again, of a deserved win. Prince Fielder Jersey . -- Michigan coach John Beilein is willing to give Nik Stauskas a little leeway when it comes to shot selection.MIAMI -- Before LeBron James makes his next decision, Pat Riley will get a chance to convince him to stay in Miami. Two people familiar with the situation told The Associated Press late Sunday night that James will meet with the Heat president this week before making a decision about where to play next season. The time and location of the meeting were still being scheduled, said the people who spoke on condition of anonymity because neither the Heat nor James announced their plans publicly. "In the next two or three days," one of the people said. Monday would seem difficult, unless James schedule changes. He has a commercial shoot planned and was expected to travel to Las Vegas later in the day for his annual camp with some of the nations best young basketball players, an event that opens Wednesday. James also has been planning a trip to Brazil for the World Cup final on July 13. Theres urgency from the Heat perspective as well. NBA players can begin signing new contracts Thursday, with some deals already having been agreed upon and plenty of others likely to fall into place in the coming days, so it would clearly benefit the Heat to know James plans sooner than later. USA Today Sports first reported the plans for James and Riley to discuss matters. The news of the planned Riley-James meeting came toward the end of a wild Sunday, sparked by news that one of Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilberts private jets was heading to South Florida. And the plane did land at an airport in Fort Lauderdale around 6:40 p.m., albeit at a different facility than the flight plan indicated, for reasons that were not made clear. The plane stayed for about 3 1/2 hours. It was unknown who was on the plane. Still, the mere notion of a James-Cavaliers reunion seems to have Cleveland -- the team the Akron, Ohio, native spent his first seven seasons with before leaving foor Miami -- on anxious edge.dddddddddddd James opted out of his contract with the Heat last month, as did fellow Miami stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. James agent, Rich Paul, met with the Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets and Dallas Mavericks while the four-time NBA MVP was vacationing last week. James decision would figure to set off a wave of other deals. If he stays in Miami, that would almost certainly help convince Wade and Bosh to stay with the Heat. If James returns to Cleveland, the Cavaliers would more than likely have to make a trade of some significance to open up salary cap space. Riley and the Heat won over James with their sales pitch four years ago -- and Miami has been to the NBA Finals all four years that it has had James in uniform, winning two championships. When James made the highly expected move to opt out and become a free agent this summer, Riley said through the team that he looked forward to having an opportunity to meet with him and discuss their futures together. Now, it would seem theyll be discussing if theyll actually have a future. The Cavs are hoping they can impress James with a young roster that includes No. 1 overall draft picks in Kyrie Irving, Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins. In the early hours of free agency last week, Irving agreed to a five-year, $90 million contract extension the All-Star point guard is expected to sign Thursday. Cleveland also has room under the salary cap, but will need to clear more space to offer James a max deal. One stumbling block for the Cavs could be the fractured relationship between Gilbert and James. When James left in 2010, Gilbert wrote a scathing letter to Cleveland fans, condemning the four-time league MVP. He also told the AP he felt James quit in playoff games. ------ AP Sports Writer Tom Withers in Cleveland contributed to this report. ' ' '
